From Friday 16th to Sunday 18th of December 2016 Bordeaux’s brand new la Cité du Vin wine musuem proposes a rich and diverse programme unveiling Austrian wines and wine culture under various aspects.
From a tasting guided by two top sommeliers, David Biraud and Olivier Poussier, focusing on six unique wines from Austria to a concert by the Austrian musical performance group “Tanzgeiger”, playing Waltz, Ländler, Polka, or Yodler, the Austrian weekend at the Cité du Vin offers something for every taste.
Wines from Austria’s various wine regions and appellations will of course be at the very heart of the event.

Wine professionals will again have the opportunity to further experience Austrian wines and culture in Bordeaux during Vinexpo Bordeaux 2017, which will take place from June 18th to 21st, and were the Austrian Wine Marketing Board will present a wide selection of wines from their country.
