Renowned Bordeaux garage wine producer Jean-Luc Thunevin will present his new sparkling rosé: Bad girl rosé which belongs to the company’s “bad boy” range at Vinexpo Tokyo. The Bad Boy range was created in 2005 when famous wine critic Robert Parker made a remark that inspired Jean-Luc Thunevin to create a whole range of wines with a unique and recognizable label design. The labels tell the story of how “bad boy” Jean-Luc Thunevin created his first “garage” wine Château Valandraud in Saint Emilion, using new experimental winegrowing methods, which back then made him look like the “bad” because “unconventional” boy of Saint Emilion. In 2012 Château Valandraud, Jean Luc Thuenvin’s super premium wine, has finally ended up by making it into the establishment as it was promoted 1er Grand Cru Classé de Saint Emilion.
Jean-Luc Thunevin’s Bad Boy range of wines includes the following cuvées:
Bad Girl Crémant de Bordeaux (sparkling)
Bad Boy Gold Côtes du Roussillon Villages
Baby Bad Boy Rouge (Vin de France)
Baby Bad Boy Blanc (Bordeaux Blanc)
Bad Boy Chardonnay (Vin de France)
Bad Boy Syrah (Vin de France)
Jean-Luc Thunevin will not only present the bad boy range but also all their other wines including Château Valandraud, Virginie de Valandraud ( both red and white), Clos du Beau Père Pomerol, Domaine les Sabines – Lalande de Pomerol, as well as some of the wines from wineries which are consulted by Jean-Luc Thunevin: Château la Fleur Cardinale – Saint Emilion Grand cru Classé, Château La Marzelle – Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classé, Château Sansonnet Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classé and Château la Vieille Cure – Fronsac.
